We've been coming to Motor City Comic Con for two years now, and it's been a great experience every show. The convention is well-run, the players are excited to compete, and everyone's sportsmanship makes running the tournaments incredibly easy. We were more than happy to have multiple players tell us they love coming back to our game room because it's a fun, non-toxic place they can relax and have a good time. We take pride in that and hope everyone else feels the same when they see us at shows. We can't wait to see everyone next year for round four!

We’ve got round three coming your way at Half Price Books in Bloomingdale! This time it’s a Mario Kart 8 Deluxe tournament with prizes for top 4 racers. Tournament starts at 3 PM, November 30, 2024. Free admission, no age requirement, and all controllers and equipment will be provided. Bring your friends, family and greatest rivals to battle it for the big prize. I turn 30 today. As a reminder of where I came from to get to where I am today, let’s take a look at one of my most precious childhood memories. I wouldn’t be near the man I am today without Smash.

It’s happening this Halloween, folks! Our September Smash tournament was a total success, so we wanted to keep the good times rolling. We’ll be hosting a doubles tournament at Bloomingdale Half Price Books on Saturday, October 26th at 3 PM. We encourage you to bring your own partners, but we will try our absolute best to find you a partner if you don’t have one that can attend. We will always provide controllers as well, but if you’d like to bring your own, you are more than welcome to.

We can’t wait to see you all there for our next event! Spread the word and come hang out so we can all have some spooky gaming fun! 👻

It was our first event back at Half Price Books in Bloomingdale in over a year, but we can say with much certainty that it was a complete success. Not only were we able to run a full bracket, but we were also able to keep the entire tournament running smooth with the attentiveness and cooperation of all our participants. We saw a lot of skill and promising talent at this local, and it made us so glad we were able to host an event so close to our hometown. Thank you to our winners, all our competitors, and the staff and company of Half Price Books for allowing us to hold our event. We hope to hold this event around the same time each month. Our next scheduled tournament is Saturday, October 26th. Keep an eye out for flyers and our socials for more information. We can't wait to see everyone soon!

Our first year at Cleveland Gaming Classic was beyond our expectations. The show itself was clean, organized, and the entire staff was more than helpful in every way possible when we needed them. We were able to use almost all our set-ups with both projectors in use, and all our competitors had an absolute blast. We had 12 different scheduled events with skillful players in every bracket. We met the creators of Mortal Kombat and were even able to snag Tim Kitzrow, the announcer for NBA Jam, to help us introduce our Sunday Smash tournament. We wish to sincerely thank all of our weekend competitors, and we hope you all had an amazing time. Truly one of our favorite events of the whole year. We can't wait to see everyone again next year!

An amazing first year for such an amazing Madison Comic & Pop Culture Expo. While we didn't have our full set-up, it certainly didn't feel like a smaller space. Everyone that played with us over the weekend was a joy, and we can't thank everyone who participated in our tournaments enough. We hope you had a massively good time, and we hope you'll want us back next year, too. Wisconsin is a special state, and we definitely need a reason to visit more often. Until next year, MadEx. Can't wait to see you there! ✌️

Motor City Comic Con has shown us nothing but growth. We've begun to garner regulars that we can rely on to give us great attitudes and interesting competition. Everyone has always been so kind and full of excitement to participate. Just between this year and last, we've seen a large spike in our player pool which has been such a wonderful addition to our game room. We have nothing but lovely things to say about Michigan and its attendees. We look forward to this show more and more every year. We can't wait to see you all in November!
