These are only 30 images from the 150 previews from M + J’s wedding day.

I can’t get over all the careful and intentional details they chose from the vintage style bouquet similar to what M’s mom had on her wedding day, the two-tiered veil, the stunning Lambeth cake with the frog cake toppers, and the red, heart photo booth backdrop.

Everything turned out so beautifully and had the best time celebrating their love.

There’s a particular kind of magic that happens when a wedding isn’t confined to a single afternoon.

V + O hosted their people into a whole weekend at — some stayed in cozy cabins, vintage trailers, or glamping tents, others camped under the stars, and some joined from nearby hotels or just for the day.

Somewhere in the middle of it all, V + O got married. Vows exchanged by the pond, a celebration that felt less like an event and more like a gathering of everyone who loves them most.

This is what happens when you build a wedding that actually feels like you. I’ll never get tired of documenting couples brave enough to do it their own way.

I almost didn’t post this.

The past month has been emotionally and mentally hard. Took a break from my personal IG, but kept the business one up since business never stops even when you’re at your wits end. Even then, I suck at posting.

I’m not someone who craves visibility — I became a photographer to observe, not to be observed (through social media). But staying quiet felt like the wrong choice.

Because this matters more than my discomfort.

The q***r community deserves more than one month of visibility and support. They deserve allies who show up consistently, year-round. Who use their platforms, their voices, their spaces to amplify q***r people. Who make it clear that belonging isn’t seasonal.

So what does that look like?

Hire q***r creatives. Amplify q***r voices. Make your space safe and keep it safe. Speak up. Show up in the small moments, not just the loud ones. Support q***r-owned businesses.

Being an ally isn’t about performing in June. It’s about consistent action, even when nobody’s watching.

To all q***r people: I see you. I love you. I’m here for you — not just this month, but every month. Always.

And if you’re someone who doesn’t agree nor respect that, there’s no room for you at Tethered Stories ✌🏼
