I had the privilege of setting up for a 50th birthday event with my family. Gotta say that is one of the best perks of having a family run business!

I never thought I would be a small business owner. If you would’ve asked me two years ago if I even knew what a photo booth was, I would have said I saw it at someone’s wedding once. Now, here I am with my family setting up for someone else’s family party. Everyone kept checking to see when we would be done setting up because they wanted to celebrate with each other and take pictures. This started as a side hustle and has become a really fulfilling way to help people relax and celebrate their special day with loved ones and make memories.

This is the first birthday party that we set up for. This is also the first time we used the purple ring light which we learned was not the best in a dark room. Lesson learned. This was also the first time when I made most of the decorations on the LCD screen and main screen. we used the backdrop on site. During pick up, we were given some cupcakes for the kids. There’s a lot more to that story that I’ll share in the future post.

Believe it or not this was my first Quinceañera event. We learned so much that day. Thank you to my wife for catching my good side.
