Mag's Legacy Cakes and More had the honored of being a vendor at two wonderful events the weekend of Juneteenth (celebration 2026).

The cubs featured black entrepreneurs on Gallagher Way. Theressa the cake cart shined as usual on Friday, June 19th.

On Saturday, we had the honored (yet another year) to bake and present the celebratory red velvet cake. This year we decided to do a red velvet cupcake cake, along with the 7 dozen single cupcakes. It was the 13th Annual Juneteenth Jubilee at Forest Preserves of Cook Co. Sand Ridge Nature Center. Did you know that one of the Southside Forest Preserves was a stop in the underground railroad? And Sand Ridge Nature Center has a walk through experience?

A big thank you to my legacy for driving 2 hours to help her mommy out. Love ya!
