This weekend our team went to Mercedes TX to compete in the 22nd annual State Championships Smoking On The Rio BBQ cookofff! Although we had some very good turn ins; unfortunately we didn’t hear our song called, ( well we did but that’s a funny story that gave us a good laugh ). We had a 80th place beans cooked by my wife Brandy Prado, broke 100 as well with our Ribs coming in at 99 with a couple of perfect scores by a couple of the judges. Finished 116 with our chicken cooked by one or team mates ( my primo ) Gus Gonzalez.

*we weren’t able to get pics of our brisket turn in but man did it look good!

As of now we are currently looking for another sponsor or two who are looking to team up and help us help eachother.
