Some love stories just feel meant to be. 🤍

I met Marley years ago when she was still in high school, and over the years her sweet mom became such a dear friend of mine. Watching Marley grow into the beautiful, intelligent, kind-hearted woman she is today has been so special. She’s currently in medical school (beauty and brains! ✨) and somehow still remains one of the sweetest souls you’ll ever meet.

Then came Gunnar — a true gentleman, dedicated police officer, and clearly the perfect match for her. The way these two look at each other says everything. 🥹

Now officially husband and wife, their wedding day was filled with so much love, emotion, and romance, and I’m beyond excited to see their gorgeous day featured on Novela Weddings!

Sometimes wedding days don’t go exactly as planned… and that’s when experience matters most. 👏🏼🎂✨

One of my couples’ wedding cakes NEVER arrived.
The room flip was almost complete, guests were on their way, and I couldn’t get in touch with the baker at all. 😳

So instead of panicking, I problem-solved.

I called a baker friend a few blocks away for a faux show cake, sent my assistant to pick it up, AND had her grab sheet cakes + a small cutting cake from Kroger. We improvised behind the scenes, made it look seamless, and the couple still had their perfect cake-cutting moment without guests ever knowing the difference. 🤍

This is exactly why hiring an experienced coordinator matters.

People often ask where the name XOXO Wedding Co. came from — and the answer is rooted in love, legacy, and one very special woman. 🤍

My great grandmother, who we lovingly called Big Nannie, had a huge part in raising me. We lived next door when I was born, and she watched my brothers and me all the time. She poured so much love into our lives — the kind that stays with you forever.

Every single card she ever gave us ended the same way:
“I love you a bushel and a peck, and a hug around your neck. XOXO.”

That sign-off never left me. Years later, my daughter and I even got matching XO tattoos — a reminder that love, care, and connection are things we carry forward.

XOXO Wedding Co. is more than a name. It’s a promise — to lead with heart, treat every couple like family, and care deeply about every detail. 🤍
