A little note from us at XOXO… 💗

If we’ve seemed a little quiet around here lately, we have been — and we wanted to acknowledge it.

The last several weeks have brought a lot of life our way behind the scenes. Between weddings, our growing business, family responsibilities, a big move, and some incredibly difficult personal loss, we’ve had to give ourselves a little grace and focus our energy where it was needed most.

Sometimes, even when you own a business you absolutely love, life reminds you that you’re human first. 🤍

But XOXO is very much still here. We’re still planning, coordinating, answering emails, loving on our couples, and working behind the scenes to create beautiful wedding days — we just haven’t been quite as good about sharing all of it with you.

We’re finally starting to get back in the saddle, find our rhythm again, and hopefully bring a whole lot more XOXO back to your feed. 💕

We have beautiful weddings to share, amazing couples to celebrate, behind-the-scenes moments you haven’t seen yet, and so much we’re excited about as we look ahead.

Thank you for sticking with us, supporting our little business, and giving us a little grace during a season when we needed it more than you knew.

We’re still here. We still love what we do. And we’re ready to get back to sharing the love. 🥂💗

✨ Sometimes the most beautiful celebrations are the intimate ones. ✨

We had the pleasure of helping create this gorgeous milestone birthday dinner by the pool for one of Very Richmond Indeed’s wonderful clients, and every detail came together so beautifully.

From the elegant caterpillar-style table setup to the peaceful poolside setting, it was the perfect backdrop for an evening of celebrating a life well lived with family and friends. 🤍

A special thank you to Classic Party Rentals of Virginia for providing the beautiful rentals that helped bring the vision to life, and to Edie at Very Richmond Indeed for trusting us to help make it happen. We always love collaborating with amazing local event professionals!

Every celebration deserves thoughtful details… and we’re honored to be a small part of the memories. ✨

Some love stories just feel meant to be. 🤍

I met Marley years ago when she was still in high school, and over the years her sweet mom became such a dear friend of mine. Watching Marley grow into the beautiful, intelligent, kind-hearted woman she is today has been so special. She’s currently in medical school (beauty and brains! ✨) and somehow still remains one of the sweetest souls you’ll ever meet.

Then came Gunnar — a true gentleman, dedicated police officer, and clearly the perfect match for her. The way these two look at each other says everything. 🥹

Now officially husband and wife, their wedding day was filled with so much love, emotion, and romance, and I’m beyond excited to see their gorgeous day featured on Novela Weddings!

Congratulations again, Marley + Gunnar. We absolutely love a good love story around here… and yours is one of our favorites. 🤍

Sometimes wedding days don’t go exactly as planned… and that’s when experience matters most. 👏🏼🎂✨

One of my couples’ wedding cakes NEVER arrived.
The room flip was almost complete, guests were on their way, and I couldn’t get in touch with the baker at all. 😳

So instead of panicking, I problem-solved.

I called a baker friend a few blocks away for a faux show cake, sent my assistant to pick it up, AND had her grab sheet cakes + a small cutting cake from Kroger. We improvised behind the scenes, made it look seamless, and the couple still had their perfect cake-cutting moment without guests ever knowing the difference. 🤍

This is exactly why hiring an experienced coordinator matters.
We don’t just fluff dresses and cue music — we handle the unexpected, protect your experience, and keep your day running smoothly no matter what happens.
