As some of you may have noticed I have updated the color selection album. A few were discontinued but a lot more has been added. Keep an eye out for some up coming projects. This year I want to spend more time on my craft. My plan is to add some art pieces that will be ready to be sold but I do continue to work on commission pieces. If you have an idea you want to see done let me know. Thanks for all your support through the years.

I started this in January of 2022. It’s a temperature quilling piece. I chose a tree. Each branch represents a month and each leaf is a day. I made a temperature range chart and assigned colors to each range. I used the high temp of each day (some people use the average temp). One thing I would have done differently was used a smaller range of temps and had more colors. For my area we never reached 100° which is a little shocking. The highest it ever got was 97°. The lowest temp was 24° and the color range that was in I only used that color 1 time the whole year (that was the high for that day. We had several nights into the teens). I was 5 days into the year before I repeated a color. Each temp range had 7°. I have been trying to make notes of any oddities so if you have any questions let me know. This was a fun project that I was able to work on throughout the year. I would do it again but maybe not for a couple of years.

I know I’m known for my quilling but I love to create and craft with all kinds of mediums. I recently made these scrabble tiles for our family wall and I’m toying with the idea of selling them. They turned out so beautiful. They are natural wood. The size is 4 inches by 4 inches and 1/8 inches thick. It is very sturdy wood, not flimsy or easy to break. The letters are black vinyl. If you are interested in ordering some they are $3 each and for every 3 letters you buy I will give you a forth for free. They are easy to hang with command strips. Message me if you are interested.
