THE HENDERSONS ☔️

We got a text the night before the wedding from them, as the forecast had showed rain all day until evening, with their entirely outdoor ceremony being mid-day. Their text said, “we’re going to embrace the weather whatever it brings”. And THAT made my heart soar!! They were such troopers and you know, what a story. Umbrellas up during the ceremony and it was stunning and romantic in the midst of it. We’ll never forget this 🤍

Bride and groom attitude is SO important when it comes to weather- rain or shine, the day is how you embrace it!

Getting married at your parents lake home, a place your family has spent years making memories, just to add to them with the most special day 🤍

September has been a literal breath of fresh air. August was so hot and these days of more comfortable temps have been a blessing. All our sessions have been so enjoyable and beautiful. What a perfect season in Minnesota.

Such a dreamy engagement session with these two.

We have another couple months of wedding season and we’re diving deeper constantly on how to document our couples in a way that is just, DEEP. Real. And a lot of that, especially during a session, is prompted- but in a way that is enjoyable and authentic. Prompting is usually necessary for those stunning images that our couples desire. We’re so happy and confident with how we help our people be in front of the camera so they feel their best versions of themselves. 🤍 and I think we’re quite good at it 😇

THE JACKSONS | a day so full of love and authentic joy. They didn’t stop smiling the entire day, and not just for photos as you can see. They were so present with all their people and the authentic moments came so naturally. 🤍

Kelle’mon and I teared up during the anniversary dance where grandma and grandpa stood longer than anyone else, being together 73 years. She was holding him so dearly and getting emotional so we couldn’t hold it back either 😭🫶 that was only one small part of many emotion packed moments.

The hottest day, the best day 🥹 this has been a LONG time coming for us. I was tearing up on the way here knowing that 5 years ago, Emily reached out saying she knew she wanted us to document her wedding day- but she didn’t have a boyfriend yet. She kept us updated as things came to fruition and God placed Jared in her life. And now, years layers, here we were. 🥲 what a special honor to be chosen before we were even producing work the way we do now. We love The Youngbloods 🤍
