The *Earn Your Wings Book and Speakers Tour* exists to amplify the courageous voices of survivors and inspire meaningful change by:

- **Empowering Survivors**: Providing a platform for crime survivors to share their personal journeys of resilience, healing, and advocacy—turning trauma into transformative action.

- **Raising Awareness**: Educating communities across the country about the realities of domestic violence, sexual assault, and crime, while promoting prevention and intervention strategies.

- **Influencing Policy**: Engaging elected officials and community leaders in solutions-focused dialogue that leads to survivor-centered policies and crime reduction efforts.

- **Fostering Connection**: Uniting survivors, advocates, supporters, and organizations to build a national movement rooted in healing, justice, and community-driven change. Backed by BVP Project Safe Haven, a program born from lived experience and dedicated to providing emergency shelter and wraparound services for victims, the Tour is more than a movement—it’s a mission to help survivors earn their wings, reclaim their power, and soar.

Gun violence has impacted too many families in our city. As you know Gun Violence awareness month is coming up and we are ready to faithfully address the senseless deaths that happen.

On Sunday, June 7th, we are gathering at Marshall Park for “A Faithful Response to Gun Violence” during Wear Orange Weekend — a powerful evening of worship, prayer, healing, awareness, and community unity.

This is not a protest.
This is a FAITH-LED RESPONSE.

We are lifting up JESUS CHRIST as THE PRINCE OF PEACE over Charlotte while standing with families impacted by violence and connecting our community to healing-centered resources.
