A special request came in last Friday for today that touched me, but not until a day or two later when the kind man ordering let the reason for things slip. Until that moment, I’d thought it was just a random craving for some jambalaya. I am honored to have been able to come through with a couple trays of chicken, andouille, and shrimp jambalaya, boudin balls (with remoulade), spinach balls, potato salad, coleslaw, and cornbread. (The coleslaw and cornbread were packed up and missed out on pics)

I have a very special gig Saturday for which I’m getting all my ducks (or should I say, sausages🤷‍♀️🤣) in a row. It felt nearly like Christmas to receive this package from Bourgeois Meat Market a little bit ago.
Can anyone guess just one thing I’ll be making? I know I’m quite excited for this.

My favorite “chicken lady” and her handsome husband did me the honor of having me feed their closest friends and families, all at a charming venue run by a fabulous couple. The rain cleared out, and the sun even made an appearance at end of the festivities (Although, Julie outshined any sun that would have appeared earlier).
