Charlotte showed up for 9/11 Day.

On the 25th anniversary of September 11, we were honored to provide the music for Charlotte’s first-ever 9/11 Day Meal Pack at The Revelry at Camp North End. Volunteers spent the day packing meals for neighbors facing food insecurity, with each shift opening with a moment of remembrance before the work began.

The energy in that room was something special. And it got even better when Hugo from the Charlotte Hornets, Sir Purr from the Carolina Panthers, and Champ the Cheetah from the NASCAR Hall of Fame came through to pack meals and hype up the volunteers.

Thank you to Jen and the entire J.Leigh Event Planning team for an awesome ex*****on And thank you to every volunteer who gave their time to turn remembrance into service.

Cassidy + Andrew’s story started on a night out in Uptown back in December 2019… and a few years later, they brought everyone right back to Uptown to celebrate their wedding at the Grand Bohemian Charlotte.

With family and friends coming in from Spartanburg, Columbia, California, Canada, London and beyond, they had one goal for the night: throw a wedding no one would stop talking about.

And the energy? Exactly what they asked for.

They wanted every detail to feel intentional, but when it came to the dance floor, the plan was simple: start with the songs EVERYONE knows and keep building.

Pop. Hip hop. Throwbacks. Mr. Brightside at full volume. And as the night went on? Straight into EDM.

From their first dance to Dandelions to a dance floor that just kept getting wilder, this night felt like Cassidy + Andrew from beginning to end.

They wanted the kind of wedding their friends would talk about long after the last song, and our  DJs made sure the dance floor gave them exactly that.

From the first throwback to the final EDM drop, the energy never let up. ⚡️
