This is kind of long post, but I promise worth your read!!

It may be the first day of spring tobut this beautiful December wedding has to be documented!!! It was a wedding that we will never forget. It was first to take place in the mountains in October but due to Helene, it was relocated to Tampa on the weekend that hurricane Milton came through… not one hurricane, but 2 hurricanes caused this wedding to then take place on the most beautiful weekend in December in Tampa, FL. What a story this couple will have forever along with the most beautiful evening filled with memories. That venue/art museum was perfect. Thank you, Snyder family for bringing NY us along with you on this journey!! It was truly a privilege and I just might add that our team had the most fun helping .avl .avl bring this couple’s vision to life!! .clt and .nsb joined up to help our Asheville team and so many memories were made in a little Airbnb in Tampa, Fl. Being a florist is job that brings so many people together in the best of ways. It’s such a joy.

I (Deedie) have to also add, a really sweet story of how flowers bring people together!! I was at Disney World with my husband the weekend of the marathon this past January (he ran, not me), talking to two ladies standing behind us in a line. Somehow this wedding comes up through conversation and one of their friends (who I get to meet later on in a restaurant we all ended back up together in, was at that wedding!!! What a small world. But also, just a sweet reminder of how flowers bring people together. Flowers make this world a little smaller and brighter. I promise you, your wedding flowers are soooooo worth it and you will love them along with your guests, forever. We love helping you create memory making moments that will last a lifetime. ❤️ Thank you to all of our clients who have trusted us to help bring their vision to life. It’s truly an honor.

(Spring meaning March through June! -minus Mother’s Day weekend, I have to throw that one out of this deal because flowers are 😅💸😱!)

☘️Book with us now through March 22 for your 2025 Spring season wedding, and you will get your bridal bouquet for free!! (Up to $250, plus labor = $325!! If your bouquet is over that amount, then we will add the extra costs to your proposal. And you have to be getting married March through June with the exception of Mother’s Day weekend!) ☘️This offer applies to clients with a minimum flower budget of $4500, and getting married within an hour drive of Charlotte, Fort Mill, SC, Maiden, or Denver, NC, this spring season!However, you don’t have to let that scare you, if your budget is a little less, just let us know…. I am going to be sharing a little about Springvine history these next few days! Starting with this forever favorite. thank you for bringing us along for your gorgeous wedding day!! (I feel thankful to all of you for bringing us along on the most beautiful day of your lives! What a gift you all are to all of us!) With this beautiful spring like day…I’m starting here with Evane’s wedding!!

It’s a favorite of mine for many reasons.

The first reason being, the creative freedom that I was given. I loved the creativity of this bride and the fact that she gave me freedom of what to do. She said she was using indoor tropical house plants to decorate the ceremony with, so I knew I had to incorporate them throughout her wedding flowers. A client who trusts us, gets the most beautiful original pieces of what I call art in the end.

Second, it was the first time I had really overbooked myself. This particular weekend, I’ll never forget. I was working in my shop so late, I remember being tired and knowing it was late, just not sure how late, and then all of a sudden hearing the birds start chirping…you know what that means, it’s morning… I took my tired self from the shop to the shower and never went to bed until the following evening after setting up a wedding in Durham the following day. Thankfully Evane had an awesome friend team who setup her wedding and I didn’t have to go onsite there…but I did have to drive 2 1/2 hours to setup in Durham.

Thats when I decided that I needed to grow a team and I needed to take on fewer weddings. Even though, both of the weddings I took on that weekend are still two of my favorites!! But I was exhausted and knew working like that was not sustainable for me or my family or my business!

However, in 2016, a dream was brewing inside of me that I wanted to grow my business, while at the same time I wanted to be more present at home too. How was I supposed to grow my business without taking on more weddings and then adding to my team at the same time? Of which all seemed like an impossible dream! … to be continued.
