I have:
Carried bouquets, long Veils, puppies, umbrellas, sleeping babies, rings, cakes, marriage licenses, shoes and tissues.
Lit countless candles, sterno cans and sparklers.
Sewed on buttons and sewed bridesmaids into dresses (more times than I can count).
Pinned up hair, strapped on shoes, reapplied lipstick, wiped tears.
Driven golf carts, directed horse drawn carriages, hiked up many, many staircases and hills.
Scooped ice cream, popped champagne, cut wedding cakes, stacked donuts, poured coffee and crafted mixed drinks.
Picked up and delivered sandwich trays. Ran to dollar general or some random grocery store for undershirts, sweet tea, cups, socks and ibuprofen.
Filmed tik toks, called out family photo lists, assisted photographers, thrown veils for the perfect picture and held leashes for the furriest friends.
Set up flower pieces, vases, place settings, arbors, candles, lighting, draping, table cloths, signage and so, so much decor.
Waddled through 2 pregnancies while working 4+ weddings a month.
Discovered the perfect after event combo of frozen bedroom slippers, Tylenol and a 2:00AM bubble bath.
Smiled, cried, laughed, whispered, sang danced and occasionally yelled.
Overall I am beyond grateful for the 6 years that this business gave me and I am even more thankful for the position it set me up in to be with my babies now. Thank you to every client, friend, family member and vendor that I crossed paths with throughout the last few years. I learned more about myself and about the goodness of my God while owning this business. I won’t say goodbye forever, but goodbye for now! I will be keeping this page up, because I love to take the occasional scroll to see all of the beautiful events and life updates happening in the lives of my past clients/friends. Every pregnancy announcement, anniversary post, birthday celebration and career change makes me smile. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
