This class is intended to help you grow a skill that is joyful and practical. With sewing, you can mend old clothes, tailor new clothes, and make other items you would normally pay for.

You will have the choice of making a tote bag or working on a project of your own with help from .

There are four spots available for folks without their own sewing machines.

Laugh Until you Cry- Stand Up Comedian Skylar Schock hosts a one of a kind evening of stand-up comedy and a follow up discussion with a mental health expert aimed at raising awareness and providing resources for the 1 in 5 Americans who are affected by mental health issues.

Laugh Until You Cry is a show created for all fans of stand up comedy and those interested in expanding the dialogue around mental health. Grab a friend and get ready for a special night. A variety of Richmond’s best local comics: Francesca Lyn, Amber Hendrix, Brandon Beswick and Mike Engle will perform their sets and stay for a talk back to round out the evening.

Join us for another FREE self defense workshop hosted by martial artists Sally Rose & Joshua Copson!

Learn simple, efficient, effective self-defense skills. The workshop is FREE but donations are appreciated. This is a non-discriminatory safe space where all individuals are welcome regardless of gender identity or expression, citizenship, race, sexual orientation, or age (children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult). Our mission is to teach folx how to defend themselves and walk without fear. We will also have discussions on strategies, fears, hopes and goals. The workshop focuses on self defense techniques that are simple, efficient and effective for real life situations.

PLEASE NOTE that this is a registration-only event and attendance is capped. Registration is linked in our bio.

Preregistrations are first come, first served. Workshops fill up quickly! By registering, you are reserving a space.
