Studio, or out in the real world? It's the first thing almost every client asks me before a boudoir session.

Here's the honest difference: the studio is a closed, warm space I control completely — light, mood, total privacy, nobody but the two of us. On-location brings its own texture: soft window light, a room that already feels like you. I've shot plenty of both, and the "right" call really comes down to where you feel most like yourself.

She almost canceled the morning of. I hear that more than you'd think.

Here's what I tell every client before a boudoir session: you don't have to walk in confident — that part's on me. We start slow, we talk, and somewhere in there you forget I'm holding a camera. This frame happened right after that. It's when people finally look like themselves.

This was never about being someone you're not. It's about seeing who you already are.
