We steep our Thai Green Tea in a cloth bag, sweeten it with sugar, and finish it with evaporated and condensed milk. The result is smooth, creamy, fragrant, and unmistakably Thai.

Matcha deserves all the love it’s receiving—but Thai Green Tea isn’t matcha. Matcha is finely ground and known for its rich, earthy flavor, while Thai Green Tea is steeped and has a sweeter, more aromatic taste.

Two green teas. Two different personalities. Both worth discovering.

A new chapter is beginning for Mem’s Thai Kitchen. 💙

Over the past several months, we’ve taken a close look at how Mem’s can continue growing while remaining true to who we are as a family business.

Our bottled Thai teas have taken on a life of their own, events have introduced us to so many new people, and catering and special orders are giving us more opportunities to share Mem’s flavors throughout Charlotte. At the same time, the regular multi-day kitchen schedule is no longer the best fit for where the business is headed.

Beginning this week, our City Kitch kitchen will be open on:

🍜 FRIDAYS ONLY
⏰ 3:30–8:00 PM

The rest of our time will be focused on Thai teas and desserts, markets and pop-ups, catering, special orders, Corporate Lunches, and new opportunities around Charlotte.

Mem’s is not closing. We’re changing how we serve you and building a more flexible, sustainable version of the business that works better for our family and our future.

You’ll have two chances to catch us this week:
