The Carolinas' Professional Wrestling Awards Founded in 2015, the Carolinas' Professional Wrestling Awards are dedicated to celebrating the achievements of talent performing in the region.

The Carolinas have long been heralded as the origin of greatness in the realm of professional wrestling. Men, women, and promotions now considered to be legendary in their scope of influence on the future of professional wrestling began here in this, the region we call home. It is in this tradition of greatness that the Carolinas' Professional Wrestling Awards will carry on in celebrating the achievements of talent working in the region. Founded in 2015, the electorate of the Carolinas' Professional Wrestling Awards is made up of a rotating seven-member panel of individuals who are in some way involved in the Carolinas independent wrestling scene. Categories included in the CPWAs are:

Announcer of the Year
Referee of the Year
Rising Star
Fire of the Carolinas
Feud of the Year
Manager of the Year
Female of the Year
Tag Team of the Year
Wrestler of the Year

When called for, we also celebrate an individual or entity that has made great contributions to the independent professional wrestling scene of the Carolinas with the Cornerstone of the Carolinas award. Nominees for the CPWAs are submitted by panel members; the list of nominees is narrowed to three competitors based on the highest percentage of nominations received. Winners are selected by panelist voting on the remaining contenders in each category. Whoever receives the most votes is declared the winner of a particular category.

We would like to sincerely thank the management, staff, and everyone behind the scenes at Old School Championship Wrestling for their hospitality and support!

OSCW is one of the longest-running promotions not just in the Carolinas but in the whole of the East coast - if not farther - and for good reason. They provide consistently high-quality, family-friendly events with engaging talent at venues that are set in picturesque locations of the Low Country. Make plans to check them out soon if you never have.

Congratulations to Bob Keller for having been selected as a recipient of the Cornerstone of the Carolinas Award, a unique accolade that represents a hall of fame-level achievement!

Keller's name - which is "The Fabulous Pl***oy" or Barney depending on the environment - is attached to the evolution of many different companies and talents, showing just how involved he is with the independent professional wrestling scene of the Carolinas. A true jack of all trades, Bob can run sound, have an audience wanting to throw rotten tomatoes at him, and assemble a steel cage in less time than it takes to get a pizza. To describe him in much too simple terms, he is a resource, and an avenue for the success of others.

We thank him for his involvement with the CPWAs and for supporting what these Awards are about!

Congratulations to Amanda Kiss for having been selected as one-half of the 2025 CPWA Feud of the Year and also the 2025 CPWA Female Wrestler of the Year!

Amanda and her sometimes rival/sometimes tag team partner Leah Night had a tremendous series of matches in 2025 that culminated with an intense, bloody brawl. This tendency for violence proved to be an attraction as it along with her one of a kind style lead to her being chosen as the top female talent in the Carolinas. We look forward to watching her career as she continues to make a name for herself!

Congratulations to LODI for having been selected as a recipient of the Cornerstone of the Carolinas Award, a unique accolade that represents a hall of fame-level achievement!

LODI's career in professional wrestling needs no repeating here as we are all aware of his time in World Championship Wrestling and other companies, but what does bear pointing out is his influence on the Carolinas and beyond as a trainer and mentor to young, emerging talent. The "Sign Guy" has had a hand in helping numerous individuals go further than they themselves likely even imagined, which shows just how important he is to the independent professional wrestling scene of the Carolinas.

We thank him for his involvement with the CPWAs as a Panelist and for supporting what these Awards are about!
