Today Marks The 47th Anniversary of Parliament's 7th Studio Album "Motor B***y Affair" Originally Released on November 11, 1978.
“Motor B***y Affair” is the seventh album by funk band Parliament. Released on Casablanca Records.
The album peaked at #23 on the Billboard 200 chart and spent 15 weeks in the Top 50.
Aqua Boogie (A Psychoalphadiscobetabioaquadoloop) was released as a single from the Motor B***y Affair album.
The song spent four weeks at number one on the R&B singles chart during the winter of 1979. However, it was not as successful on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, only peaking at number 89.
Aqua Boogie (A Psychoalphadiscobetabioaquadoloop) was Parliament's fifth consecutive gold album (500,000 copies sold).
