For Katy Flood, picnics have never been just about food or a blanket on the grass. They’ve always been about connection. Her love for picnics began early—at her family farm, dogs underfoot, wrapped in Granny’s quilt with her mother’s picnic basket nearby. Katy’s approach is deeply rooted in how she was raised. Today, Our Picnic Spot creates intentionally styled gatherings with cozy pillows, layered linens, curated place settings and personal touches that invite guests to linger and connect. The business is best known for intimate celebrations—surprise picnics for two, proposals, anniversaries and wedding-related events like showers, luncheons and small receptions—but Katy also designs gatherings for friends, families, neighbors and colleagues who want to mark a moment in a meaningful way.

Welcome to Victoria’s fabulous bridal shower picnic with Our Picnic Spot! 💍🎂🥂🍾💒

A dreamy afternoon where elegance met ease. Guests gathered poolside, shaded by soft sunlight and laughter, around picnic tables adorned with blue-and-white pillows and dainty plates.Peach Bellinis sparkled in hand as Victoria, family and friends nibbled on tea sandwiches, fresh chicken salad, fruit kabobs and homemade wedding cookies — a menu as lovely as the bride-to-be. With every breeze, you could feel the joy and celebration of Victoria’s next chapter.
