I’m excited to introduce our first YULETIDE SCONE SAMPLER BOX! 🎄
A German Baker’s Dozen means 14 Scones and 7 Big Flavors:
Our 🇬🇧 CLASSICS, you already know: 2 Classic Devonshire cream scones
2 Fruited Devonshire cream scones, studded with plump currants.
2 Christmas cream, scones, infused with specs of almond paste, and a blend of diced apple, raisins, and citrus pill steeped in Brandy.
🇺🇸AMERICAN STYLE SCONES 2 BISCOFF Scones (rich butter scones with chunks of Biscoff cookies and Biscoff butter, chopped with Biscoff crumble and cinnamon glaze.
2 CINNAMON STREUSEL CRUNCH scones - loaded with crunchy cinnamon, bits and chopped with buttery, streusel and cinnamon glaze.
2 PARISIAN TWIST scones: butter, scones, with toasted hazelnuts, chocolate chips, and topped with a crunchy brown sugar and cinnamon crust. 2 CHERRY ORANGE scones - packed with sweet dried cherries and a hint of orange, chopped with sliced almonds and orange glaze.
While the British scones are designed to be topped with butter or clotted cream and jam, our American style scones are decadent enough to be enjoyed by themselves. Each box will be freshly baked to order, with the glaze served separately so you can freeze them easily and reheat at a later time. They will be packaged in our signature boxes and are great gift idea as well. Heating instructions included. Reserve your box quickly, because supplies are limited. Talk about practical lemon magic! What started as a tiny Meyer lemon tree finally bore fruit this year, and it’s incredible to watch the beautiful blossoms turn into these juicy, gigantic, and flavorful Meyer lemons. Nature never fails to amaze me, including that little tree frog hiding in one of the pictures—did you spot it?

What an honor to take these lemons and transform them into toasted lemon meringue bars, knowing they grace the most beautifully set tables here in Charleston and are enjoyed by the most incredible ladies and loyal customers I could ever ask for. I am truly blessed! 🍋✨

🌟 Guess who’s back and ready for more tea party magic! 🌟

Before I share photos from last weekend’s tea party at the British Car Club of Charleston, I want to take you on a little journey because I know many of you are curious about why I’ve been MIA since February. So grab your favorite cup of tea and settle in! ☕️

It all started in March when I received a lupus diagnosis, adding to my existing autoimmune challenges. Just a month later, in April, I faced the unexpected loss of my father, which led me to travel to Germany to be with my family. And let me tell you, it was quite the adventure including an emergency room visit in London!😳

But here’s the twist: amidst the challenges, I found incredible moments with family and friends and got to explore tea rooms, discovering how celiac-friendly England and Scotland are! I returned home with not just memories, but also inspiration that rekindled my passion for baking.

Upon returning, I realized it was time for a sabbatical to focus on my health and well-being. (Of course I couldn’t stay away completely—I’ve been busy creating new delights in the kitchen, fueled by my travels and experiences!)

And now, I’m bursting with excitement to share the highlights from our latest tea party! 🎉 It was a spectacular event, completely sold out, with so many familiar faces and even a waiting list! What an amazing group!

I also want to give a HUGE thank you to all my amazing customers, friends, and followers for your understanding and patience while I took time for myself this summer. Your kindness and loyalty truly blow me away, and I feel incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful community supporting me! 💖

Guess who’s back! 😇 It’s been a minute since I’ve shared some of my sweet creations with you. That’s because SC summers are too steamy for tea parties! And that’s not all bad as it means more time in the pool and in the kitchen experimenting! Now that temps are starting to drop, orders are coming in and I’m thrilled to be back doing what I love most! 🥳 Custom orders are so much fun - especially when they include two of my all-time favorites: Boston Cream Pie and a classic British Bakewell Tart! I haven’t seen Boston Cream Pie in bakeries in Charleston but if you’ve never had it, I tell you, you’re missing out! There’s nothing like pairing real vanilla bean custard with fluffy hot milk cake and dark chocolate ganache! Nothing! And if you like the combination of almond frangipane and raspberry, you should add a Bakewell Tart to your must-try list too! Shoutout to this husband who reached out and ordered both for his wife’s birthday! How sweet is that! And of course I’m grateful for his feedback!
