Our vendor lineup for the Chardon Cryptids and Curios Festival is looking fantastic! We have a great mix of returning vendors and new faces, and I can't wait for everyone to see what they’re bringing to the square.

You’ve seen the stories. You’ve heard the legends. Now it’s time to come face-to-face with one of the most terrifying creatures of the Northwoods.

Something strange has been spotted around the region.

Eyewitnesses have reported encounters with an unidentified creature...but what exactly is it?

At this year's Chardon Cryptids & Curios Festival, we're sending YOU on an expedition to find out!
Meet Logan Livingston- Explorer, Archaeologist & Field Investigator

Logan will be setting up his Cryptid Expedition Base Camp at the festival and recruiting brave investigators of all ages to join the search.

Your mission:
Receive your official field report
Track down eyewitness accounts hidden throughout the festival
Gather clues and evidence
Reconstruct the creature based on what you've discovered
Return to Logan's Expedition Tent and discover the truth.

🚨 VENDOR SCAM WARNING — PLEASE READ! 🚨

We recently had a potential vendor nearly fall victim to a scam involving someone impersonating our vendor process. We want to make sure everyone knows exactly how our vendor process works so you can recognize a fake payment request.

🛡️ HERE IS OUR ACTUAL VENDOR PROCESS:

1️⃣ MERCHANT INQUIRY
You first submit a Merchant Inquiry to us. This allows us to review your business and determine whether you are a good fit for the event.

2️⃣ APPROVAL
If you are approved, we will send you the official vendor application.

3️⃣ CONTRACT & INVOICE
Once your application/contract has been completed, we will send you an official invoice through Square.

That's it!

🚫 We do NOT ask vendors to pay through PayPal.
🚫 We do NOT ask you to send a payment receipt or screenshot.
🚫 We do NOT ask you to send money through PayPal "Friends & Family."

If someone claiming to represent our festival asks you to send money through PayPal Friends & Family, please do not send the payment. This is a major red flag and is not part of our vendor process.

If you receive an email, message, application, or payment request and you're unsure whether it's legitimate, STOP and verify it with us before sending any money or personal information.

You can reach out to us directly through our official page or through our website with any questions or concerns.

We would much rather have you ask us to verify something than have you lose your money. ❤️

🍄✨ **MEET GNOBLE THE GNOME!** ✨🍄

Something magical (and just a little bit mischievous) is making its way to Chardon Cryptids & Curios! Meet Gnoble the Gnome, one of our fantastic performers!

Gnoble may be small, but he has a BIG personality and he's bringing one of his favorite games along with him!

~GNOME RING TOSS!~
Think you have what it takes to land a ring on Gnoble's hat? Kids can step up, take their shot, and see if they can ring the gnome!

Gnoble will be wandering the festival, meeting our little cryptid hunters, posing for photos, and challenging kids to see who has the best ring-toss skills!
