I was so excited to have to opportunity to provide the centerpieces for the St. Timothy Catholic School Annual Auction and Fundraiser this past weekend. It was a Mardi Gras theme! I had an excellent time, and enjoyed supporting TJ's amazing school. Here are a couple photos:

Happy Monday, I hope everyone had a great weekend! Here's a fun little fact to start off the week... When you get flowers and you put them into water, everyone knows to cut the stems at an angle. But did you know that the water should be 90-100 degrees? Cold water contains air bubbles which will collect in the xylem (stem), preventing water uptake. In order to get the most life from your flowers, hydration is key, and warm water will aid the process.

A few days ago, a prospective client sent me an email asking me to create a wedding floral proposal for a 200 guest sit down dinner reception and ceremony in the Northern California area at a 4 star hotel(*according to Tripadvisor) based on some images that he/she was inspired by.
