I have seen thousands of wedding photos throughout the years, and so many of them have been absolutely beautiful. But every now and then, there’s one that speaks a little louder than the rest. This is one of those photos.

As The Rusty Mallard’s in-house planner, I had the privilege of getting to know Regan throughout the planning process. Our venue family has known Joseph, her now husband, for several years, but getting to know Regan and her family was something truly special.

Watching the bond between Regan and her dad throughout the planning process and during their wedding weekend was evident, but then I saw this photo.

The emotion, the pride, the love, and the unspoken understanding between a father and daughter are all captured in a single moment.

I’m grateful to have been a small part of their wedding day, but even more grateful to have gotten to know them and witness the incredible relationship they share. Some bonds are simply special, and this photo says more than words ever could.

As we close the door on May, we just want to say THANK YOU to everyone who celebrated with us at The Rusty Mallard. 💛

From Mother’s Day brunches and graduations to birthdays, showers, weddings, and every little moment in between — thank you for letting us be part of your memories. This month was one for the books, and we are so grateful for every guest, every laugh, and every table filled with people you love.

Now it’s time to welcome June… 🌸💍
The month of summer celebrations, patio nights, and beautiful brides. We can’t wait to see what this next season brings and to continue celebrating life’s sweetest moments with all of you.
