Hi, I’m Emily — the person behind VorEver More. 🤍

Before I tell you about what I do, I think it’s important to tell you a little about who I am.

I’m a wife, a mom, a business owner, and someone who has spent more than 10 years in the restaurant and hospitality industry.

I’m married to a chef who understands this crazy industry just as well as I do. Long days, late nights, weekends spent working while everyone else is celebrating — it’s a lifestyle we know very well. And truthfully, we love it. We love hospitality. We love taking care of people. We love being part of the moments people gather around and remember.

And now, we have a little boy who has become a very real part of this journey too.

My 10-month-old is no stranger to a business meeting. You may hear him in the background of a phone call or see him tagging along while Mom gets things done — because he is part of me, and he is a huge part of why I work as hard as I do.

Becoming a mom changed the way I look at this business. I’m not just building something I love anymore. I’m building a future.

I want my children to grow up watching their parents work hard for the life they dreamed about. I want them to see that you can take an idea, pour yourself into it, treat people well, work hard even when no one is watching, and create something you’re proud of.

When I planned my own wedding, I realized how naturally wedding planning combined so many parts of who I already was — my love for hospitality, my Type-A personality, my attention to detail, my communication skills, my need to follow through, and most importantly, my desire to take care of people.

And that eventually became VorEver More.

There is something incredibly special about being trusted with someone’s wedding day. My couples are handing me months — sometimes years — of planning and trusting me to help bring it all together for one of the biggest days of their lives.

I do not take that responsibility lightly.

Every wedding I work is another family’s story beginning, and maybe that’s part of why this work means even more to me now that I have a family of my own.

I’m building this business for my couples, for myself, for my family, and for the future my husband and I have always dreamed of creating together.

There’s a lot of life behind this little business of mine — and I’m so grateful you’re here to watch it grow. 🤍

There is no better feeling than getting to the end of a wedding day and realizing everything went exactly how we planned it.

The timeline flowed, vendors knew exactly where they needed to be, every transition happened seamlessly, the details were in place—and my very Type A brain got to watch months of planning, organizing, communicating and double-checking pay off in the BEST possible way for my couple. 😂🤍

Because that’s the goal. I want my couples to be able to actually live their wedding day while I’m behind the scenes making sure everything else just… happens.

And can we talk about Rust Manor House?! I’m completely obsessed with the character of this place. Every room has its own personality, every corner feels like it has a story, and somehow it just keeps getting prettier the more you explore. It was the perfect backdrop for this day.

And then there were THE FLOWERS. 😭🌸 Olivia works for a flower shop, and they absolutely showed up for one of their own. They completely outdid themselves for her—truly some of the most stunning florals I’ve ever seen. All of that color and texture against the character of the house was just unreal.

A beautiful transformation, an incredible vendor team, a day that ran exactly the way it was supposed to…

…and 32,000 steps later, I’d say we did the damn thing. 😂🤍

My Type A heart could not have asked for more.

The guests are waiting. The music has started. Everything we’ve planned is officially in motion—and I get to walk just a few steps behind my bride as she heads toward one of the biggest moments of her life.

Measured from the outer edges for perfect centering, checked the spacing, made sure everything was straight… and probably measured it one more time. 😂

I get a front row seat to so many moments no one else sees. 🤍

I thought my favorite parts of wedding days would be the big moments—the first kiss, the first dance, the grand entrance. Turns out, it’s this.

The deep breath before the doors open. The look between a bride and her dad. The moment when everything suddenly feels real.

After months of planning, talking, stressing and laughing with my brides, I’m attached. So when we finally make it to this moment, I have chills and teary eyes right along with them.

These quiet few minutes will forever be my favorite part of a wedding day. 🥹🤍

September 12 can’t come soon enough! I’m so excited to spend the next few weeks helping these two put the finishing touches on a day that celebrates their love, their story, and the life they’ve built together.

I asked Brittany what she’s looking forward to most, and her answer says it better than I ever could:

“I can’t wait to marry my best friend and celebrate the life we’ve built together over the years. Planning our wedding has made it all feel so real, and I love getting to create a day that reflects who we are as a couple. I’m especially excited to have all of our family and friends in one place! I know the day will go by so fast, but I can’t wait for those little moments we’ll remember forever.”

One of the things I never expected about becoming a wedding planner is how hard it is to say goodbye.

Every couple starts as strangers. Then come the meetings, phone calls, venue visits, design ideas, countless emails, and all of the moments in between. Before you know it, you’ve spent months walking through one of the biggest seasons of their lives with them and they become genuine friends.

Then the wedding comes… and just like that, it’s over. I think every wedding leaves me with a little bit of a full heart and a little bit of a heavy one.

Mary Kate and Rex, this one was different.

One of the greatest joys of my job is getting to stand in my couples’ corner. To celebrate with them, help carry the stress when things get overwhelming, advocate for them when they need someone in their corner, and remind them that everything is going to come together.

There was one moment on Saturday that I don’t think I’ll ever forget.

Right before the ceremony, Mary Kate was tucked away, waiting for the doors to open. I could tell the nerves had finally caught up with her. She looked over at me, and all it took was comfort in a quiet moment and a reminder that everything was ready. It was such a small moment, but it meant so much to me. The fact that she looked to me in one of the biggest moments of her life reminded me just how much trust comes with this job—and what an incredible honor that is.

A few minutes later, those church doors opened, I watched her walk toward Rex, and yes… I cried. Happy tears. Proud tears. The kind that come after watching months of planning, dreaming, and overcoming obstacles finally lead to the moment they’d both been waiting for.

The rest of the day was everything they dreamed it would be. A beautiful vineyard, thoughtful and tasteful golf details woven throughout, incredible food, amazing families, and so much love that you could feel it everywhere.

Mary Kate and Rex, thank you for trusting me from the very beginning. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey and for making me feel like so much more than your planner.

Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. I already miss our meetings, but I couldn’t be happier for what’s ahead. 🤍
