🚧 New Website Testers Needed! 🚧

I’ve been working behind the scenes to completely rebuild the Deaton’s Aerial Photography website.

My goal isn’t simply to make it look better. I’m building an all-around better experience—from planning a project and requesting an estimate to signing documents, tracking progress, making payments, and receiving completed photos and videos.

The new website includes:

• A detailed flight-planning and estimate builder
• Interactive property and filming-area tools
• Easier scheduling and project communication
• Secure access to quotes, documents, payments, and delivered media
• Clearer information about services, pricing, and what to expect

Before I make it the primary Deaton’s Aerial website, I’d love for some of you to test it:

Please look around, try the quote builder, and check it from your phone or computer. Let me know if anything is confusing, difficult to find, displays incorrectly, or simply doesn’t work.

Both website addresses will remain active, but once testing is complete, **deatonsaerial.com** will become the main address for the new website.

Honest feedback is encouraged. I’d rather you all find the bugs now than have a customer discover one halfway through booking! 😂

What a day at Rock Hill Farm Supply’s Grand Opening!

We had a great time capturing a mix of ground and aerial photos of the store, the property, and all the activity going on throughout the day. Rock Hill has put together a great-looking place with plenty to offer the local farming and livestock community.

A big thank-you to Rock Hill Farm Supply for letting Deaton’s Aerial Photography be part of the day, and to WEIS Radio for being out there covering the event.

And yes… even the local hawk stopped by to inspect the drone operations. 😂🦅

After a brief negotiation, me and the hawk have reached a peace agreement. He says he’s sorry for attacking the drone and promises to respect Deaton’s Aerial airspace from now on. 😂🦅

Well, that escalated quickly! 🦅🚁

We are out at Rockhill Farm Supply for its grand opening, and Zack Deaton was capturing aerial footage with his drone when a local hawk took exception to its airspace being invaded—and attacked the drone!

Apparently, even the birds are keeping an eye on all the excitement at Rockhill Farm Supply! 🤠

My goal has been to make every step of working with Deaton’s Aerial Photography easier, from requesting a quote to receiving your final media.

🔥 Hidden Alabama History from a Higher Perspective! 🚁

Have you ever visited Cornwall Furnace in Cedar Bluff, Alabama? Built in 1862, this historic iron furnace helped support the Confederacy during the Civil War before being destroyed by Union forces in 1864. It was later rebuilt before production ended in 1874.

There’s something special about seeing history from the air. Every flight tells a story.
