Sometimes agriculture looks a little bit different and I love getting to show it! Bee happy today!

And yes, I got stung, in the face, but only after I stepped away and stopped taking pictures. I guess they didn't want their minute of fame to end.

Liz Daly is the founder of Shoot the Gap Productions, a creative brand rooted deep in the grit and soul of the rodeo world. Raised in the heart of the bucking bull industry, Liz’s story started young, capturing raw, adrenaline-filled moments on her mom’s phone at the practice pen. Drawn especially to the bullfighters, the true protectors of the arena, she developed an early eye for storytelling through action, risk, and resilience.
By seventeen, Liz had already co-founded a rodeo production company, helping produce nearly a dozen rodeos each year. During that time, she built her skills in graphic design and media while forming strong connections with contestants. Driven by a desire to serve the athletes she admired, she traveled alongside them, creating powerful visual content that showcased their dedication, courage, and identity beyond the arena.
In the past year, Liz made the leap from mobile content to professional camera work. What began as an exploration of videography quickly shifted after a single still-photography event in April changed her path entirely. Since then, she has committed fully to photography, refining her craft and vision.
After attending a western photography clinic in Arkansas, Liz discovered her defining element: light. To her, light is more than technique, it is spiritual. It is the closest expression of her faith and the thread that ties her work together. She believes faith is woven into the fabric of rodeo, and her goal is for viewers to feel that presence first through the light in every image.
Liz’s work captures the moments most people overlook, the stillness before the ride, the chaos behind the chutes, the quiet prayers, the exhaustion, and the untold stories that live in between. Her lens is not just focused on action, but on truth.
As she continues to grow, Liz is expanding her work across the broader agricultural world, including livestock shows, ranching, farming, cow-calf operations, and western storytelling. No matter the setting, her mission remains the same: to honor the people, the faith, and the unseen moments that define the western way of life. Artist 2 Artist Showcase is proud to have her as a featured Photographer. *** NEW DATE *** AUGUST 1ST 2026

Monthly Malachi Recap 🤘 MARCH

Malachi Anderson has been getting down the road and making the most of every opportunity this past month.

He kicked things off with back to back college rodeos in Mississippi. In Meridian, he put together a solid ride, scoring a 76.5 to finish 3rd. He followed that up the very next weekend in Poplarville with a 77 in the long round and came back strong with an 82.5 to secure 2nd place.
He didn’t slow down there.

This past weekend, Malachi headed to Du Quoin, Illinois for an NFPB event where he really showed out. He covered both bulls, going 85 on the first placing 2nd and 84 on Saturday placing 3rd.

On top of that, Malachi was finally able to buy a van to travel, which will help cut down on expenses and allow him to get to more rodeos consistently. That’s exactly what this scholarship is about.

From college rodeos to pro events, Malachi is building momentum, stacking rides, and representing the Ashley Easley Memorial Scholarship the right way.
We’re proud to be in his corner and can’t wait to see what next month brings.

Market heifers go through two main feeding phases:
Backgrounding – Focused on steady growth and muscle development
Finishing – Higher-energy diet to achieve proper fat cover and marbling
On average, a well-managed heifer can gain 2.5–3.5 pounds per day.
Proper nutrition, clean water, and balanced minerals are essential for healthy development.
