The April 25th – (5:00pm hour) featured JIM MCDONOUGH. He grew up in Monticello, and now resides just outside Cedar Rapids.

In 2002 Jim started performing his popular "Christmas with Jim McDonough" concert, in 2011 he added his spring tour. Wanting to bring his performance to a more intimate setting, in 2018 Jim began his Home Concert Series.

The 5pm hour we'll have the very popular Brian Herrin, a classically trained Singer/Songwriter, originally from Jacksonville, Illinois, now from Des Moines. Brian has shared the stage with such acts as the Nitty-Gritty Dirt Band, Vertical Horizon, Tonic, Carly Rae Jepsen, Sister Hazel, Cloverton and Jordan St. Cyr. In 2008 he co-founded the Des Moines-based pop rock band, DECOY, touring extensively until 2015. Currently Brian can be found performing shows throughout the Midwest. His recent single "It Goes Like This" can be heard opening up the first segment of Corridor Blend.

Colin Moore grew up in Central City, Iowa and attended school there. He's a member of the band, MegaDestroyer.... 1 of 3 space vigilantes who fight the invading galactic overlords, who come to steal Earth's chicken nuggets! The band is an alternative rock band out of Omaha, Nebraska and just released their single on March 20th called, "Steam". I'll be playing it before my introduction of Colin during the phone interview. The band is set to release their next single in May and will be hitting the road to promote it.

Local radio is the heartbeat of a community. CORRIDOR BLEND on Classic KMRY (the only locally owned radio station) gives Iowa singers and musicians the chance to be heard on the radio!

Lena Adams is a singer/musician and private voice teacher. She's performing a Tribute Show, Friday April 17th at the historic, Victorian View Mansion in Washington Iowa. With her busy schedule, she's still able to find time to visit with us in the studio. Lena will be telling her story and sharing her talent in the 6:00 hour!
