A while back I collaborated with Jay and Amanda at End of The Lane Farm to develop an all natural chocolate milk recipe that highlighted and enhanced their incredible grass-fed milk. I’m so glad they have this back in stock!

🐄🍫🥛‼️It's finally back‼️🍫🥛🐄
📢Get it while we have it, as we do not know when we will have it again.📢
(It has been 17 months since we last had it)
💥It will be stocked in the store tomorrow afternoon💥
For people who have not had our chocolate milk it has ✨️JUST 5 INGREDIENTS✨️
*Milk, Dutch cocoa, sugar, real vanilla & salt*
This recipe was put togther by our friend Rob Handel-Ding of Rob Handel Catering. This recipe was specifically put together without using the unnecessary and unhealthy ingredients such as:
CARRAGEENAN, HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP, CORN STARCH, ARTIFICIAL FLAVOR, CALCIUM CARBONATE, CELLULOSE GEL, CELLULOSE GUM, PROPYLENE GLYCOL.
***Because we do not use any emulsifiers or binders the cocoa does separate to the bottom just shake well and enjoy***

I’d like you to meet Thai Boat Noodles- your new favorite noodle soup that you’ve never had.

This hearty bowl is grounded in a rich stock of pork ribs, dark soy sauce, and fermented bean paste, then chock full of noodles, house made pork meatballs, crispy pork rinds, and bean sprouts. A topping of chili-garlic paste, thai basil, lime, and cilantro brightens everything up.

Come try a bowl at Left Bank Ciders during Catskill’s First Friday on December 6th!

Spring is in the air in the Catskills, and my friends at Story's Farm, Barber's Farm, End of The Lane Farm, Migliorelli Farm and farms all over the Catskills and Hudson Valley are hard at work doing all of the unseen labor of sowing, tilling, and transplanting needed to provide the gorgeous produce our area is so known for. I'm looking forward to my weekly farm trips to source ingredients for my clients, and while my schedule is starting to fill up there are still some summer and fall dates available. We’re about to get 1-3 FEET of wet heavy snow here in the Catskills, so I’m just daydreaming of spring and this caramel flan served with fresh berries and forsythia blossoms

We still have a ways to go before winter is over, but I'm already thinking summer and reminiscing about summer salads bursting with fresh local produce.

Hudson Valley stonefruit salad with plums, apricots, and Story Farms blueberries dressed with honey, lemon, and bee balm. The bee balm as a pungent herbal flavor with just enough citrus to make it pair well with the fruit, it's one of my favorite summer combinations

Heirloom tomato salad with Barber's Farm tomatoes, sumac pickled shallots, fresh herbs, and toasted pine nuts

I'm currently booking events large and small for the 2023 summer season, visit www.robhandel.com to learn more

Did you know that there is a world’s expert on chocolate milk? Well there is, and he recently reviewed some chocolate milk that I developed a recipe for and gave it a perfect 10/10 score. Of course I can’t really take any credit, my friends at End of The Lane Farm are producing incredible grassfed milk right here in Cornwallville and that’s the “trick”, but I am proud to have played my small part.

Back in September the folks at End of the Lane Farm found a card left in the money box next to their self-serve refrigerator. It was from Perry James, the world’s foremost chocolate milk expert. And he gave the Cornwallville farm the highest possible score! The story is at https://porcupinesoup.com/cornwallville-farm-earns-highest-score-from-international-chocolate-milk-critic

In this week’s Oak Hill & Vicinity, Mary Lou Nahas also mentions End of the Lane Farm in talking about the history of creameries, particularly Locus Grove Creamery which operated many years ago in Oak Hill on Route 22. That story is at https://porcupinesoup.com/oak-hill-locust-grove-creamery
