MEET OUR NEXT LOTUS CUP COMPETITOR!! Debbie Strand Aifd Icpf
Debbie will also be competing in the Judi Borah Land of Lincoln Cup
Debbie began her career in the floral industry in 2003 by taking a few classes at the local Community College. There she was introduced to the Illinois State Floral Association and AIFD.
Debbie earned her ICPF (Illinois Certified Professional Florist) in 2005 and in 2015 attained her AIFD (American Institute of Floral Design) Accreditation.
She has won numerous awards within the Floral Community winning both the Designer of the Year and the Land of Lincoln Cup from the Illinois State Floral Association!
Containing her floral education is of utmost importance to Debbie, having studied with many designers from all over the world.
In 2010, Debbie started her Wedding/Event Business – Deborah Strand Designs. She is also an active Freelance Designer and is on the staff at Lewis Florist in Grayslake, IL.
Debbie is currently the President of the North Central Chapter of AIFD.
