It looks like I’m out in outer space, but I’m actually just looking into space from Carlsbad. Space travel is awesome, especially when you don’t need to leave earth.

A lot of people tell me they love my pictures and I thought why not provide some tips I’ve learned over the years.

Today’s tip is think about where you stand.

Last night I went to the beach and took a picture of lifeguard tower 22. The first picture is good, you can see the tower, the ocean behind and the stars but then I moved to the left a few feet and closer to subject, the tower. This second image makes me say WOW, this image is awesome.

So next time you are taking photos take a few pictures at different angles.
