the way one rose and empty vases impact me. gather was given its namesake for the idea that flowers are always present when people come together. around one flower. or around many. in such a wide variety of environments through the course of life.

this morning i was designing florals on my mom’s patio before the sun picked up steam. out walks mom with a cup of coffee into a chaise lounge she went. out walks my aunt with a cup of coffee and into the other. all three dogs were playing in the grass. i was cutting hydrangeas from her yard and plopping them directly into arrangements.

we talked about everything and nothing. and in my brain that’s exactly how flowers should feel. slow and steady. of the earth. with people we love.

for kennedy. last year she and kyle got engaged in the studio. it is a full circle moment to create a truly unique bridal bouquet for her to carry down the aisle.

using a technique we learned from the talented and inspiring …most of this bouquet is wired to allow for a greater flexibility and positioning of flower heads.

a moment for the mushrooms. the og flower. the ground’s communicator. the earth’s electrical grid. when a tree is sick, another tree knows and can help it heal, thanks to mushrooms. they enrich our brains, heal our bodies and offer us so much life. cheers to mycelium and all it grows around us.

you all weighed in and asked and now they’re all showing up. first the greeting cards. then the face oil. today the books and journals started arriving.

we now have a pregnancy journal, my mom’s story, my grandma’s story, a grief journal, a series of books for tummy time for littles that are 0-6+ months and a book on creating paper flowers.

we intentionally built our our initial selections for the boutique to offer you plenty of mother’s day options. next week the chocolate bars arrive and we will also be adding very carefully (IE pure ingredients) chosen bath products like soaking salts.

if there is anything else you are craving for mother’s day as it approaches don’t hesitate to comment. we’ll get them in for you. frankly, we are selling things as they are being added to the shelves because everyone is so excited. we know you need gifts for the holiday and we also know you very much jump at any opportunity to support us which…be still my heart *tear*

happy spring equinox, love.

winter is a season serving our paths with opportunities to see what is no longer serving us, the time to release it and the comfort to heal.

spring is the first dawn of all we’ve planted. here, our efforts begin to form into the seedlings we nurture. here, we see momentum build.

today, we sit in perfect harmony with the two. today. here. we are beautifully balanced. equidistant between the winter darkness of the skin we have shed and the spring lightness ahead, our glow.

it is nature’s new year’s day during the year of the snake. and as some of you may know, a snake must shed it’s skin or die. the earth has a way with humor, eh?

embrace the metaphor as you will. we’ve chosen to celebrate it with a piece made of hellebore, snake ball allium, blue allium, euphorbia and a pear blossom branch i stopped traffic to “forage” ;)

no. 2 | _____ or bust.

created in january after i had spent a good pocket of time working to reprogram my brain and the way i approached life. in this piece i see the battle of self. waves of soft grace as we rewire patterns of thought. there’s a quiet wisdom about her. how she understands there is beauty in the frazzled undoing. that in a defining moment of change we know it must be anything but this. how we are able and will now choose _____ or bust.

it’s hyacinth season! so fragrant you can ditch the perfume when you wear them. and yes. you can order them from the studio if you’d like. just message us or give us a call. these were made for a sweet bride who wanted a little something extra and i couldn’t help but make a pair for myself as well :)
