Rain on your wedding day is traditionally seen as a symbol of good luck!

It is a spiritual cleansing of sorts, washing away your fears and preparing you for your new journey together. The life-giving properties of water represent fertility, growth and renewal, which is seen as a blessing from the Gods. Metaphorically speaking, "tying the knot" in the rain, makes the knot harder to untie, thus building a strong and resilient marriage.

Whatever you may believe, the rain on this day surely made it one to remember and created some gorgeous photo opportunities too!

September has quickly become the most popular wedding month of the year here in the Finger Lakes, and it's not hard to tell why. It's not too hot, it's not too cold, summer still lingers, while fall is in the air. Plus, the lake views are always so stunning.

While we generally recommend booking with us 6-9 months in advance, for the most highly sought after dates, we strongly encourage you to book at least a year out. September 2027 is definitely filling up fast.

If so, your bridesmaids' bouquets make the perfect extra pop of flowers after the ceremony. Once you're done with pictures, simply put them back in the vase and place them around your reception space. They are perfect for the bar, gift table, memory table, bathroom, lounge areas etc.

Two things I love about these suits:

1. The color! This beautiful sky blue is perfect for summer, and color really brings joy to any celebration. Don't be afraid to be bold, it can really make your flowers pop too!

2. The groom's suit is a different color. Setting the groom apart from the groomsmen is one of my favorite elements for the guys. It gives him a chance to feel uniquely recognized as the groom. Plus, it really helps the two of you stand out as a couple, especially in a crowd of people, but most importantly in your wedding party photos.

Call me OCD, but it totally bugs me when pictures look unbalanced because the groom blends in with the groomsmen! Anyone else feel this way?

How much should I plan to invest in wedding flowers?

Overall pricing will vary according to many factors, including the number of people in your wedding party, guest count, time of year, type of flowers, your event space, venue logistics, distance traveled, on site installations, rental items, candles etc.

✨ A good rule of thumb:

Your floral investment should account for 10-15% of your total wedding budget. If flowers are a significant element to your overall wedding experience, then we recommend allocating closer to 20-25%

Flowers create the vibe and make your wedding feel magical.

Don't underestimate their role in your special day. You'll look back on your memories for years to come and thank yourself later!
