At Northern Lights Event Rental, our mission has always been simple: to deliver the most comprehensive and exceptional event rental experience to the communities we serve. To continue raising the bar, we’ve been busy behind the scenes—and we’re excited to share some big news.

First, an exciting announcement: we’ve acquired Jumping for Joy (formerly Joe’s Bounce House Rental)! This acquisition allows us to continue providing the same trusted bounce house service customers know and love—now fully supported through Northern Lights Event Rental. We’re proud to carry this service forward after finding a company that shares our values and commitment to excellent customer service. Thank you Amanda Usher and Lyle Usher for trusting us with your company and customers. Their products will be transitioning to our website in the near future. In the meantime, if you’re planning an indoor event in the next month or two and a bounce house would be a great addition, please contact us and we’ll be happy to arrange service for your event.

In addition to this exciting acquisition, we’ve also expanded our rental inventory to better serve our customers. We now offer nearly 1,000 chairs, 200 tables, and 23 tents in a variety of styles and sizes—including high-peak, frame, pop-up, and pole tents—along with a full selection of party accessories.

We are excited to announce that we have added 4 - High Peak 20’ x 20’ tents to our inventory. They have the ability to be attached together to make larger tents. They will be added to our website asap. If you have any questions please contact Jeff via phone, text or email.

We are always looking to upgrade our inventory. This past year we’ve had several requests for staging. So we have purchased 3 - 4’ X 8’ heavy duty carpeted sections. The height is approximately 18”. If you’re interested in renting these, please contact Jeff via phone text or email. They will be posted on our website ASAP.

Some more exciting news from Northern Lights Event Rental! We have added 100 Slatted Resin Chairs to our original 75 and 114 Padded Resin Chairs to our inventory, so we can now provide your larger events such as; weddings or other formal events with a quality alternative to the traditional folding chair. We had the privilege to provide tents this weekend for two great causes. The 2025 Jethro Doberstein Kickball Tournament for the 2nd year in a row at Sandquist. Also the Benjy Bruss Benefit at the Dusty Eagle in Dalbo. Please come out and support these local causes tomorrow.

Did you ever wonder what it takes to put up a 30’ x 60’ frame tent and why they are so expensive?

1. Build Frame.

2. Put 4 sections of canvas on the frame and lace the pieces together.

3. Attach the canvas to the frame.

4. Raise the tent and attach poles.

5. Pound in stakes into the ground.

6. Attach the tent to the stakes.

7. Tighten all straps.

This tent takes approximately 6 people about 3 1/2 to put up and about 2 1/2 to take down.

I just wanted to share this because before I started an event rental company I never understood why tents were so expensive to rent.
