Thank you all for making the Flower Moon Spring Market a whimsical, incredible success and just so much fun! We're sorting through photos by our amazing photographer, Ian Raymond, and will have many to share. Ian Raymond is a teaching professor of media production at Michigan Tech University. He also teaches photography classes at the CCCAC in Hancock - both digital and darkroom photography.

Photos were cropped for Instagram. We'll be sharing more pics in the upcoming weeks, because there was just so much going on at the event and there are so many great moments. We hope these snapshots of whimsy brighten your day!

If anyone found a floral sakura hair stick or an elf ear, those have been reported missing! Let us know so we can try to coordinate with their owners. We walked the Green and the Hub afterward, but no luck finding either.

We are very tired, so a proper thank you will appear later this week! Thank you everyone! Vendors, musicians, vendor helpers, photographers, wandering bards, whimsical guests! You all rock!! Shout-out to our setup and takedown crew for helping make decor and then decking the gym out! And for making props for the maypole! And of course, we couldn't have done this without the support of our spouses! 💖 The Quincy Green and Hancock Community Hub were a great fit for our event too!

Get some rest, and carry on with the whimsy!

Hello, hello! Here are our maps, though there is generally some shifting around once people get set up! We had some last-minute adjustments just yesterday.

There is music indoors and outdoors for most of the day, activities, demonstrations, and crafts in multiple booths, plenty of picnic spaces and food trucks + vendors with bakery and other treats, a maypole dance at 3pm on the Quincy Green, and a sound bath indoors at 5pm.

There is *plenty* of space on the bleachers inside if you'd like to just relax and take in the vibes! Decorated selfie mirror & trinket trading table are inside too.

Nearby Hancock businesses you may want to check out on the way to/from the market: Magic Kiln, with special Sunday Hours 2-4pm. K.C. Bonkers, open 12-5pm, and 5th & Elm open for special hours on Sunday.

We can't wait to see you all bring the whimsy to downtown Hancock!

🌸🌱 COMMUNITY TABLE SPOTLIGHT: KEWEENAW MUTUAL AID COLLECTIVE 🌱🌸

Keweenaw Mutual Aid Collective believes that we have the capability to take care of each other within our own communities. Their main project for this summer is community gardening. They hope to focus on fresh food access for all and making sure that everyone who would like to has access to a garden to grow in.
