Growing up, our home was always filled with the scent of fresh flowers, and the sight of my mother arranging a bouquet was as everyday as breakfast. So, when the opportunity knocked in late 2019, I knew it was my turn to take the family tradition to the next level. The previous owner was retiring, and I leapt at the chance to continue the floral legacy with my mom by my side. Life had other plans, though. Just after we took over the shop, my mother was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. And then, like a bolt from the blue, the world changed with the onset of Covid-19. It was a tough start. But let me tell you, flowers have a way of blooming through the cracks in the pavement.
