✨🌸THE FLOWERS🌸✨
Flowers were one of the hardest things to plan for my wedding. We had a relatively small budget, but my vision included more flowers than our budget allowed! 😅 After working with our florist, we decided on gold compote bowl centerpieces, loose stems for bud vases, the boutonniere, and my bouquet.
To stay within budget, we opted for more local flowers, used the loose stems at the ceremony, and later repurposed them into bud vases ourselves (which, in hindsight, was way more work than I realized!).
For my bouquet, I wanted a flowing, garden-inspired arrangement in blush, pinks, mauve, white, and greens. I LOVED the dinnerplate dahlia from my inspo pic but since they were out of season, my florist suggested white cremon instead. I was so nervous about how everything would turn out, but my florist created the most stunning florals that truly brought my vision to life! ✨
Choosing a florist whose design aesthetic you love and trust is so important. Lean on your florist AND planner to select the best flowers to achieve your dream florals…like when the flower you had your heart set on isn’t in season for your wedding.
