June 20th, The Peacock Theater presents "Smooth & Friends".

C. Barry Denham (his friends call him Smooth) will be joined by two powerhouse musical talents for an evening of unforgettable music.

Tom Porter is a classically trained cellist with 14 years performing with the Naples Community Orchestra, currently with Viburnum Sound, and a veteran of folk, rock, and blues projects.

Joe Donato, South Florida Jazz Hall of Fame inductee, has shared the stage with Dizzy Gillespie, Art Blakey, Carmen McRae, and Nina Simone over a storied career. At 84, the legendary saxophonist still plays with rare fire and fluency.

This unusual combination of styles blends itself into one of those "sum is bigger than the parts" collaborations. With tickets starting at just $12
and in the intimate listening room of the Peacock with the Sparacia Witherell Family Winery & Vineyard beverage & food selections, this promises to be an amazing event. Book your seats now at

I'm looking to organize Sunday afternoon Meet Ups with donations ( proceeds to go to the Peacock). Each Sunday would have a different focus, so there would be a once a month group for the topic(s) you choose to attend. Based on a recent survey, I have 3 of the 4 weeks planned but I'm looking for ideas for one more activity. Some suggestions for the Meet Ups have been storytelling, group sing-a-long (volunteer musician(s) would be needed), Peacock Choir for Folk Festivals (needs a choir leader/musician(s)), Dungeons and Dragons, Charades, and Improv. If you have any ideas for what you'd like to see and if you can volunteer to host/teach an activity once a month, please comment below. Thank you. (Peahen: Laura Jo Julian)

BIRD'S EYE VIEW FROM THE STAGE! What an amazing night! Huge thank you to everyone who came out to the Chicken Parade's benefit for the Peacock Theater at the Sparacia Witherell Winery. The joint was jumping! There just aren't enough words to express our gratitude...you know...without getting mushy. ❤️ (Full house! Those 5 empty seats in the picture were from Parade and Peacock peeps hanging around outside on a beautiful clear starry night.)
