Clay Date is a curated speed-dating series designed to create intentional spaces for different parts of the q***r community to connect.

✨ This edition centers poly, ENM, and pansexual q***r singles.

Instead of awkward small talk across a table, you’ll have clay in your hands to sculpt, play with, or fidget with while conversations unfold naturally.

During the night you’ll rotate and meet at least 5–6 different people in a relaxed, neurodivergent-friendly environment designed to make connecting feel easier.

We’re tapping into our inner child, getting our hands messy, and creating whatever your heart desires, keychains, earrings, magnets, mini sculptures, gifts for a loved one, or something just for yourself. This night is about creativity without rules, joy without pressure, and remembering how good it feels to make something just because you can.

In honor of Black History Month, this edition of Q***r Clay With Me is a POC-only gathering centered on Black q***r folks, with deep intention around care, creativity, and connection

We’ll be gathering inside the , a warm and cozy creative space. Intimate, welcoming, and perfect for slowing down, laughing, and creating together. Expect good energy, soft music, and community vibes that feel like being in a friend’s living room.

This gathering is also rooted in mutual aid and solidarity.

We are uplifting King Tiama ( ), a 27-year-old Black trans man raising funds for a safe place to stay while recovering from top surgery. Tiama is currently navigating an extremely transphobic living environment that is not safe for recovery.

50% of every ticket sold goes directly to supporting King Tiama’s recovery.

Tickets are intentionally limited to keep the space intimate.

Hey friends 🫶🏽
We wanted to share a quick but important update with you. After having to postpone this event, we went back to the drawing board and are really excited to officially announce our rescheduled date: Sunday, February 1st.

We’ll be gathering at , which is truly one of our favorite spaces for an event like this. It’s cozy, intimate, warmly lit, and the kind of place where conversations flow easily. Add in great drinks and a relaxed atmosphere, and it becomes the perfect setting for a clay & sip night with community.

This is a 21+ creative hang where you can expect:
👐🏽 Hands-on clay play (no experience needed)
🍹 Drinks available for purchase
🎶 Good music and a chill pace
💬 Space to talk, laugh, and actually connect
✨ A welcoming, affirming environment centered on q***r joy

All clay, tools, and materials are included

You’ll leave with something you made yourself and hopefully feeling a little lighter than when you came in. Whether you come solo, bring a friend, or meet someone new, this is meant to feel easy, social, and fun.

CLAY DATES 🧱💗
A Q***r Creative Speed-Dating Experience

Clay Dates is a new recurring series created for q***r people who want a more relaxed, intentional way to meet one another. Instead of traditional speed dating, this experience pairs short, timed dates with hands-on clay play, giving you something creative and grounding to do while conversations unfold naturally.

Throughout the night, guests will rotate through 10–12 minute clay dates, allowing you to meet several people in a low-pressure, gently structured environment. You may choose to work on one clay piece across rounds, start something new each time, collaborate with your date, or simply use the clay as something to hold and fidget with. There is no required outcome and no expectation of artistic skill.

This event is intentionally designed with nervous daters, neurodivergent folks, and anyone who finds dating spaces overwhelming in mind. Having something tactile to engage with can help ease nerves, support regulation, and create more natural conversation. The final portion of the evening opens into a relaxed mingle, where guests are welcome to continue conversations, exchange contact information, enjoy the space, or leave when they feel ready.
