Had the privilege of observing the Queen 👑 of Officiating Kathrine Vass in action today at the Pondhouse Cafe West Hartford 🌺 for a beautiful wedding 💒 It was a gorgeous joy-filled day. Didn’t even think to grab a photo during ceremony because I put my phone 📱 away as instructed 😂

Happy 2nd anniversary 💒 Darren and Jason. This Magical 🪄 ✨ couple found each other on their own healing journeys. In each other they found a pure love ❤️ peace 🕊️ and serenity. They have cultivated a life of joy as they live and love 💕 with the authenticity of who they are, steeped in Gratitude 🙏 for it all. Family Fun 🤩 Day in Bristol CT. I will have a vendor table and reading 📖 my children book 📕 — Rio and Silas with Love 💕

Event date is June 29th, 2024 from 11:00-2:00. Rain ☔️ date is 6/30
At the Bristol Arts and Innovation Magnet School (B.A.I.M.S) along Memorial Boulevard.

Ther will be other vendors, Food 🍱 trucks and touch-a-trucks 🚛🚜🚒 Family Fun Day will provide resources, fun, and games for 🆓 FREE for children under the age of 9 and their families who live in Bristol. This is a special day in our community to celebrate children and families by promoting health, wellness, social emotional learning, and education.

The process and pricing that come with a wedding 💒 are no joke 🎭 You add a special element here and there and holy heck how that tally grows!

Even if your amazing Matron of Honor bakes the mini cupcakes 🧁 in place of a wedding cake, designs and creates all the décor; Even if you skip the flowers 💐 and let the natural rustic venue speak for itself; Even if the guest's favor, place setting and drinking glass is all the same item -- it's hard to hide from that price tag!

So approached by newly engaged loves 💕 one of the first questions I get asked is "How much does a wedding officiant cost?" 💰

I truly care you have the ceremony of your dreams ✨and I am not afraid to work with you as well as with your budget.

Each JP or officiant determines their value and often sets a starting price anchoring ⚓️ down a cost after speaking with you. The best way to answer this important question is to have an idea of your needs and desires.

The venue location is needed to determine if travel fees will be incurred. Also, it matters if you want your JP present at the rehearsal and/or require them to coordinate and lead the rehearsal. Knowing your budget 💰 is very helpful but it's understandable that can not always be easy to determine.

The cost for any officiant will include them delivering the marriage license to town/city hall and should include them arriving to the venue early. With me, your initial consult is free.

To get a feel of my approach: A ceremony with me will have sparks of humor, a few hefty doses of nostalgia accompanied with tons of love. 👩‍❤️‍👨

There is always at least one very unique ✨ element that tends to happen during ceremony for me! Yesterday I officiated a short and sweet 💕 ceremony in Torrington. We were about to get started and a neighbor appeared from the brush in the backyard. We didn’t know why she was there, but we joked and asked, “Are you here for the ceremony?” 💒 She got excited and asked to stay. With the permission of the couple she stayed and even caught the bouquet 💐 It was light and fun, but there were tears from the bride and the neighbor! She then told us why she had drudged through the brush 🌳— to warn us of a bear 🐻 in the neighborhood. We thanked her for waiting until after the ceremony!
