September!

Wins: I still had flowers!
Room for improvement: Figure out why my dahlias sucked this year 🤪. Usually I can count on them in September but I am getting so few blooms this year.

Still learning so much! Still loving playing with flowers and when you all trust me with your orders. On to October!!!

August. Really proud of myself for growing all this beauty and being able to share it with my neighbors! This year was very experimental for me, and I feel so much more confident going into my next growing year. Some huge wins (👋 hello gorgeous amaranth and celosia, finally), some fails (do NOT put off supporting your lisianthus 🫣🫠) and some unexpected new favorites that will be forever on my growing list (strawflower and ballerina zinnias!).

Goals moving into September:

🌸 Get the dahlia pests under control and get those babies productive for fall!!
🌸 Finalize my fall planting list and get seeds and plugs ordered.
🌸 Cut back the massively spent campanula and poppies which are all going to seed.
🌸 Figure out where I can plant more next year 🤪😆 (you reading this, hubby?!)

(I promise this is the last time I'll use this song this year...but, I just had to! Plus, I just saw him in Seattle and am still riding that high!)

Not always a purple girlie...but these amaranth and sweet peas have me swooning 🫠💜.

June roses are perfection. David Austin "Queen of Sweden" and Parfuma "Earth Angel." Save this post if you're looking to add roses to your garden, these are two of my favorites!!

Quick, which vibe are you picking??

Comment by 6/26 at 8pm and I'll pick one of you to win a bouquet to be redeemed at my stand (or gifted, if you're not local) anytime this summer.

One extra entry per tag 🏷️, so tag your friends in the comment!!!

May 2026 was spectacular ☺️. June is usually my favorite month in the garden, but May "may" have just stolen that spot!!
