Five years with The Makers Boulevard. 🥹🤍
Makers came with so many firsts for Soirée Love. Five years ago, Katie trusted me with our very first community install and, in so many ways, she’s the person who pushed me out from behind my online business and into the world of installations. She believed in me before I really knew what this part of Soirée Love could become.
Since that very first install during Covid, she has trusted us every single month. Five years later, we’re still there every third Saturday, and she has never once trusted another balloon company with her baby. I don’t think she knows how much that has always meant to me. 🤍
Looking back through these years feels like looking through a little scrapbook of our own growth, too. My daughter painted the backdrop for the first anniversary. Year two brought Xoch and Jy alongside me, and they’ve been part of this journey ever since. And now year five brought Bre and Cristina into our little crew. 🥹
But the most special part has been watching what Katie has built. She pours her whole heart into Makers, and over five years it has become such a beautiful community of its own. I look forward to seeing the familiar faces every month, meeting new ones, watching everyone’s babies grow, and all the beautiful friendships and connections we’ve made along the way.
Katie, I love you to pieces and I’m so incredibly proud of you. Thank you for taking a chance on me five years ago and for continuing to choose Soirée Love, always.
