Dear Washington County, thank you. Thank you for allowing me to represent you through this journey. Thank you for the endless support from beginning to end. Thank you so very much for the lessons, and memories I have gained these past few weeks. I am unsure of how to put it all into words, but here goes nothing. These past few weeks have been a dream come true. I am so overwhelmed by the amount of support and love that has been poured into me. My thought process going into this was simply “How can I best serve the community during my running for fair queen?” I pray that I have served this community well through this process, and that opportunities for me to continue to serve this community will still be present even after this. Thank you so much to my amazing team and everyone who has supported me along the way. I can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for my future and thank Him every day for placing the want to run for Washington County Fair Queen on my heart. Good luck to all the exhibitors at the fair, and I can’t wait to see everyone there! Love y’all always, Makenzie🩵
