A room can be layered and beautiful, but the details that stay with us are usually the ones that could not have belonged to anyone else. Haley + Ty’s wedding was full of personality from beginning to end.

Vibrant purples, soft greens, overflowing florals and thoughtful details brought so much life into the design, but what we loved most was how distinctly theirs it all felt.

That’s what we want for every couple we work with. A wedding that isn’t simply beautiful, but personal. One where the colors, details and experience come together in a way that could only belong to the two of you.

I tell my couples this all the time: Pinterest is a wonderful place to get inspired, but it shouldn’t be making all the decisions for your wedding.

Save the photos you love. Show me the colors, the flowers, the little details that keep catching your eye. But then I want you to ask yourself, do I actually love this, or have I just seen it enough times that I think I’m supposed to?

Because the weddings I love seeing come together most are the ones that feel like the couple. Not a trend. Not a Pinterest board. Them.

Take the inspiration, then make it yours. That’s where we come in.
