⭐ Global Arts Live welcomes Anna Kuwabara as General Manager of The Platform Kendall.

Her appointment marks an exciting step forward as we move closer to opening The Platform in Kendall Square this coming fall.

“I’m honored to join Global Arts Live + The Platform at such a pivotal moment,” says Kuwabara. “We have an extraordinary opportunity to build a home that truly serves Greater Boston’s artists, audiences, families, and cultural communities. The Platform will be a vibrant addition to Kendall Square, and I’m excited to help bring it to life.”

From 2017 to 2024, Kuwabara served as Executive Director of the Albany Symphony, a Grammy-winning orchestra recognized for championing contemporary music and innovative community and education programs. Her earlier roles include VP for Orchestra Operations and Facilities at the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra (SLSO), Director of Operations for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and Interim President and Executive VP of the Longy School of Music.

As we prepare for The Platform’s launch, Kuwabara will help shape the systems and structures that support both the big picture and the day-to-day experience of the new performing arts center.

Just beyond The Platform welcome center, you’ll find your way into the 125-seat amphitheater where you can enjoy a show! From lunchtime talks to weekly jazz nights, comedy shows, lectures, and more, the cabaret stage comes alive daily.

Past the amphitheater, nestled in the winter garden, grab a drink at the bar! This intimate space is perfect for enjoying a performance and unwinding after work.
