The joy in this gallery is so tangible and so real. When you let the kids be kids and allow them to run around, laugh and show that genuine connection with their parents, the photos will come out magical. There were no forced “cheese” smiles, instead, it was an hour of playing together at the beach, running in the sand and jumping over the waves. I loved how I got to document them in an authentic, more unposed way, which made this one of my favorite galleries ever. 🫶

As if fall season was not busy enough as it is, some big things are happening behind the scenes in my personal life and I am very excited to share with you all very soon. It is a bittersweet new chapter for me and my family, but sometimes you have to take a big leap of faith, trust that things will fall into place and not live with a nagging “what if” for the rest of my life. Can’t wait to share with you very soon!

I have known this family since their oldest was in preschool, and I love that we did their family session at a place that is very special to them.

When I photograph a family, I am not looking for perfection. I am looking for connection and genuine emotions. You are encouraged to run, play, make silly faces and anything else that makes your children laugh and connect with you. 🤍

I have said it many times before, but one of the greatest joys of my job is to have a first seat row to your legacy and document all your life’s milestones. From engagement to wedding day to starting a family. 🤍

I know from my own life as a mom of two that life is busy and nonstop and I will always cheer on moms who take the time to schedule a family session and squeeze in an hour of uninterrupted quality time with your family in a beautiful location and freeze that time forever. This little boy was so happy and kept picking flowers for his mom. It was truly the cutest thing and such a sweet testament to his love for his parents 🤍

Here we go - my first post with my new implemented blurred faces on children policy! Turns out, it does not detract from the images as much as I originally thought! I will be experimenting with different types of blurs to find the perfect one for my work.

This membership mama reached out to me in the spring and signed up for the mini membership (maternity and newborn session) and has since had her baby and completed her membership. I loved getting to know them, help style their sessions and see their family (and hearts) grow as they welcomed their baby boy to the family. It will forever be my greatest joy and honor to document these special life milestones for the families I have the pleasure of working with. 🫶

I have been thinking long and hard about this for most of this year, and I have avoided posting photos from family sessions until I made a decision on how I am going to move forward with the issue. While AI can do a lot of good things, it can also be used wrongly, and morally I can no longer stand behind posting high-resolution images of the children I photograph. As a photographer and small business, it’s a very difficult decision to limit the kind of photos you share, and especially to actively choose to not share the absolute best photos from each session. However, as a mom who is limiting what I post of my own children, I had to question the need to post photos of other people’s children for the sake of my own portfolio. Until AI is more regulated and we have better control of the images we share, I am going to blur children’s faces or only share side profiles. While my social following no longer will get to see the best images from each family session, the families who work with me will still get the same smiley and giggle photos, full of connection and joy. Nothing is changing in terms of the final gallery, and what you as the client choose to share once the images are in your possession is entirely up to you! 🤍

I was watching the forecast very closely on the days leading up to Anisha & Pranav’s engagement session. Since they don’t live locally and were only visiting for a few days, we had little wiggle room to reschedule due to the weather. When the forecast showed that the rain would stop right before their session we decided to go for it and I am so glad we did! We got this beautiful soft, hazy sky that turned into one of the most gorgeous, golden sunset I have ever seen! They showed up with the most amazing energy - the kind that instantly brightens a room - and they danced, laughed, ran and hugged and we captured some pure magic while they were being themselves.

This is why I love what I do. I get to capture real energy from real people. No session is ever the same and each gallery reflects the people in them. As an artist and photographer, it is my job to read the people in front of me and adapt to their unique personalities. It is forever an honor to document peoples biggest milestones and growing families and I am forever thankful for all of you who entrust me with it 🫶✨

Newborn photos don’t have to feel overwhelming. 🤍 In my studio, they’re meant to feel easy, calm and deeply connected.

You don’t need to clean your house, hide the laundry, prep the nursery, or manage pets during the session. There’s no rushing and no hosting. You simply arrive, settle in, and let the space hold you while I take care of preserving your memories.

The studio is thoughtfully designed with elevated details — artist-painted backdrops, timeless furniture pieces, and a neutral, heirloom-inspired aesthetic that allows your family to remain the focus. Everything is intentional, uncluttered, and serene.

No setup. No decisions. Just presence. I love creating space for older siblings to feel proud, curious, and included. Their excitement and early connection with a new sibling are often the moments that become the most meaningful and precious.

One hour in the studio is so much time compared to one hour outside. So much can be accomplished because everything is right there within arms reach, the light is constant and outfit changes are easy. This is why I love the studio for minimalist, organic baby sessions where the little one’s personality and expressions are in focus. This was session #3 of a baby’s 1st year membership and we did a combined milestone + cake smash session with 4 outfit changes! Just look at those adorable faces when the cake was put in front of her. Pure joy!
