Please check out this beautiful plant nursery Wild Things Nursery. It's on an amazingly gorgeous property and the plant selection is wonderful.
I wish I had a picture of all the beautiful families like this one who ventured out to celebrate with us today. Like the last year, though, the last 13 hours since the alarm started singing at 5:45 am were somewhat of a blur with things happening fast. As such, in case we didn’t tell you in person, we very much appreciate you all. I was forced to learn the hard way that tomorrow is never promised. Some days when business is slower than a box turtle and the bank starts calling, I catch myself closing my eyes, shaking my head, and asking myself what, in the name of wild things, was I thinking. We could sell this place, move to Tennessee, and be debt free. Then, days like today happen. The only promise that I can make to all of our wonderful customers and friends is that we will do everything we possibly can to ensure this place is here for generations. From borrowing, to begging, and working our bottoms off in between, we owe it to you and to all of those special people who were the sandpaper when we needed polishing, the ear when we needed to talk, or the teacher when we needed teaching. We owe it to our parents who invested much more than time in shaping who we are. I, personally, owe it to my nephew Jordan to keep working on what WE started. And, we owe it to the things that can’t speak for themselves - the Wild Things of this world. Thank you to for your fabulous food and fellowship. Thank you all! Tomorrow we start year 2 from 1-6 with our Herbal Tea Workshop from 3:30-5:30. We look forward to seeing all who plan to attend! .myrick
