To the Family, Friends, and Loved Ones of Freddie Jackson:

With a heavy heart, I extend my deepest condolences on the passing of Freddie Jackson. Through James Docatt Dancy Enterprises, as CEO and President of Stop the Killing, Heal the City, and on behalf of Developing Our Children’s Ability To Thrive, Inc. (DOCATT), the Anna Mae Dancy Foundation, Inc., and the Franklin Park Coalition, Inc., I offer our heartfelt sympathy and prayers.

As a promoter and entertainment agent, I had the honor of booking Freddie for entertainment engagements in the 1990s. His passing is especially personal to me. I have just spoken by phone with his booking representatives, who are also friends of mine, concerning the arrangements to honor his life.

Freddie’s extraordinary voice brought people together and filled countless hearts with love, comfort, and joy. His music became part of our celebrations and our most cherished memories. We will always be grateful for the talent he shared and the lasting contribution he made to R&B.

Through the organizations I serve, we work to uplift families, strengthen communities, and encourage healing. In that same spirit, we stand with Freddie’s family and loved ones during this painful time.

May God surround you with strength, peace, and comfort. May the love of his friends and fans remind you how deeply he was appreciated, and may your treasured memories sustain you in the days ahead.

Rest peacefully, Freddie. Your voice will live on, and your memory will remain in our hearts.
