I loved my maiden name so was more than happy to keep it as part of my business’s identity! Ashley Fidler Events was born in 2018 out of a passion for helping other people. Taking part in one of the most momentous day in ones life is a privilege. I take great pride in my job and have a meticulous eye for bringing your vision to life. Through strategic partnerships formed over the years, I’ve learned to be flexible and accommodating to each client’s unique needs and preferences. My education in Event Planning and experience selling, booking and planning large weddings and functions at some of the finest venues in Boston has left me with an infinite knowledge on all things weddings. One year ago today 🤍

Still one of my favorite room reveals — and one of my favorite toasts.

Hearing them talk about how genuinely stress-free the planning process felt is exactly why I love what I do.

And somehow, exactly one year later, I’m back at the same venue on the same exact day, for another AFE couple. How lucky am I to be helping create such special memories!

J&J’s wedding pics dropped! Can’t believe it has already been a month since they said I do! 🤍

Inspired by the campus where they met and the classic character and charm of BC, this intimate ceremony and luncheon was designed to feel playful, elevated, romantic, and completely personal to the couple and their history together.

The Capital Grille was an especially meaningful spot for the luncheon, as both the groom and his sister grew up celebrating there with their family. The chapel — and even the priest who married them — also held a family history that went back years and years.

The absolute sweetest start to a very special weekend. Here are a few of my favorite images from the day — it felt so special to bring this one to life!

A year later, and I’m still not over this one.

Some weddings stay with you forever, and this is one of them. The most breathtaking design, the dreamiest Newport weather, and a couple who made every moment feel effortless.

R, you’ll always be one of the coolest brides to ever do it. Your style was timeless, understated, and unforgettable—the perfect match for a day that felt equal parts old Hollywood glamour, classic romance, and modern minimalism.

This painterly editorial was inspired by the architecture that surrounded it. Earlier this spring, this group of creatives came together to bring the vision I’d been dreaming about to life...

The goal was simple: create a design that felt like it had always belonged there. Every detail was intentional. We carefully selected antique-inspired rentals that complemented the property’s character rather than competed with it, allowing each piece to feel collected over time. Overgrown floral centerpieces softened the grandeur of the space, creating an enchanting atmosphere that felt romantic and effortlessly timeless.

Getting to dream up ideas like this is one thing. Bringing them to life alongside a team this talented is what makes it all so rewarding. Endless gratitude to every vendor who poured their creativity into this day. We can’t wait to share more soon—but for now, enjoy a little glimpse of the magic.

R&W booked us back in August 2024, and somewhere between the design meetings, timeline edits, site visits, and way too many laughs, they became so much more than clients. Twenty-two months later, I had the honor of watching them say “I do” on the most perfect summer day in Newport, surrounded by 140 of their favorite people (and us 🥹)!

R is one of those people who brings joy everywhere she goes. She loves pink, has the biggest heart, and the kind of energy that’s impossible not to match. It only made sense that their wedding felt exactly the same-bright, colorful, joyful, and full of life!

Every Zoom turned into equal parts planning session and comedy hour, while W balanced us out with the calm, supportive energy. They truly are the best match!

Getting to know their families was just as special. Being welcomed into such an important chapter of someone’s life is something I’ll never take for granted.

This is exactly why I started Ashley Fidler Events. I love beautiful tablescapes, florals, and thoughtful design, but it’s the people & connections that stay with me most.
