I’m turning 35 tomorrow, and I am officially making a change.

​If you are on my email list, you already got the full, messy, honest story. But the short version is this: I am saying no to the hustle.

​For 2027, my hands and flowers are dedicated to bringing breathtaking, intentional design to your milestone moments. I am stepping away from producing loud, heavily mixed bouquets, and stepping into a highly curated, quiet aesthetic. Think lush, minimalist designs featuring just a few stunning ingredients with room to actually breathe.

​2027 books for custom weddings, showers, and special events are officially open at the link in my bio.

​As I head into this next trip around the sun, I'm thinking a lot about the boundaries we set. Figuring out your "yes" is usually the easy part. But what do you have to lay down to make space for the good?

That spot where the mental load feels too heavy and full of a million problems and decisions all pinging in your brain at the same high-alert frequency? I know exactly how that feels.

A year-ish ago, my brain sounded like this:

these mug arrangements keep tipping over in the wind.

these look too small on this table.

no one wants a Christmas mug in July.

how do I make this a place for connecting and taking a break, not just consumerism?

what am I even doing??

You can swap out my flower-farming problems with your life-specific stressors, but my core advice remains the exact same:

Take one small problem at a time. ONE.

swap a mini arrangement for a wrapped bouquet in a bucket.

try making your lunch the night before.

try a 3-tiered display instead of one flat table.

try a set time for emails instead of panic-responding as they come in.

put out some chairs.

take a nap first. It’s okay.

Just do the next small thing. One step at a time. The best, most lasting changes come incrementally. Slowly. Slow is always better.

That’s exactly why Walton Family Flowers is taking our own next small step. Now that the Aurora market season has wrapped, we are slooowly pivoting away from the weekly booth hustle to focus on local events, special orders, and a seamless a-la-carte flower menu for 2027. We are intentionally slowing down so we can design even better things for you.

Your Saturday morning coffee run just got a floral upgrade this weekend at Society 57

This is a completely self-serve flower stand, and it couldn't be easier (or more beautiful). Just pick out your Dahlia bouquet, scan the QR to pay (or better yet, pre-order online!), and off you go to have the most perfect October Saturday.

I'm only making 15 Dahlia bouquets and once they're gone, they're gone. (And at least one is already spoken for at the time of me typing this!)

It is officially the end of an era. 🍂

This Saturday is my VERY LAST Aurora Farmers Market of the season, and I am bringing every last beautiful fall bloom I possibly can!

The market is going all-out for a cozy fall finale. They are encouraging everyone to wear their favorite fall sweaters (or costumes!), and yes, I will absolutely be participating in the vendor trick-or-treating. Come get your flowers and a piece of candy (chocolate, obviously). 🍬
