Mahjong has a way of slowing everything down.

It asks you to pay attention, to stay patient, to adapt and to enjoy what’s happening right in front of you.

The more I play, the more I realize how much this game mirrors real life.

It’s not about perfect hands or constant wins.
It’s about how you respond, how you reset, and who you share the table with.

These are the lessons I’m carrying with me into 2026 — at the table and beyond.
